Summary:
This design and build project for the construction of a new bespoke “express” store was delivered on time to a challenging programme by engaging trusted supply chain partners with a proven track record of timely, high quality delivery.
LOCAL DELIVERY – Read’s project delivery team championed early supply chain integration and by working closely with existing supply chain partners, the project was delivered with 87% local labour.
LEAN CONSTRUCTION – By deploying the LEAN construction principles of “”Right First Time”” and sequential inspection, built in quality was delivered throughout the project. These principles, were used throughout the design phase to ensure the design programme was effectively managed and that constraints were identified and dealt with ahead of construction.
