We’re proud to announce the arrival of our first electric van, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to sustainable transport and carbon reduction.
With our entire car fleet already fully electric, we’re now turning our attention to transforming our commercial fleet, starting with this van. It’s the next step in a broader strategy to reduce emissions, improve air quality, and support the Welsh Government’s decarbonisation objectives.

Why It Matters
Transport is one of the largest contributors to carbon emissions in the UK. Commercial vehicles alone account for over a third of CO₂ emissions on the roads. By transitioning to electric vans, we’re not only cutting our own emissions but also contributing to a cleaner, healthier environment for the communities we serve.
National Momentum
Our efforts align with broader national initiatives. The UK Government recently extended its plug-in van and truck grant scheme to at least 2027, offering up to £5,000 off large vans and £2,500 off small vans. This support empowers businesses like ours to make the switch confidently and cost-effectively.
What’s Next?
This van is just the beginning. We’re actively reviewing our fleet strategy, exploring further electric vehicle options, and integrating sustainable transport planning into all future developments. From site logistics to employee travel, we’re embedding low-carbon thinking into every aspect of our operations.
