Throughout the pre-construction period, Read worked collaboratively with the client team and their designers to develop the design, secure planning and agree the contract sum. Read’s CDE platform, BIM 360 Docs was utilised to share design proposals in real time, with approval workflows setup to notify us of approval requirements in line with sign off gateways.
Their 2D and 3D presentation of design information through the CDE has enabled easy interpretation of their proposals, which have been developed alongside the Contract Sum Analysis to arrive at a substantiated, on budget contract sum.
Throughout the pre-construction phase, Read have been open, collaborative and have aligned with our needs in terms of robust and uncomplicated BIM outputs.
