Summary:
Grade II listed for its special interest as a mid-C19 country house of mixed Tudorbethan and Classical character, this project was undertaken with careful selection of materials and skilled labour, for a series of structural repairs and alterations.
SYMPATHETIC – With plans to convert the existing former country house to superior quality multiple residences, Read were engaged as a local contractor with expertise in delivering restoration and alterations to listed and heritage properties. The repairs and replication of ornate detailing in ashlar were undertaken by carefully selected supply chain members with a track record of delivering similar repairs to listed buildings.
QUALITY & VALUE – Now serving as a luxury holiday home, the project was completed on time and under budget through effective planning and efficient delivery to the high quality and exacting specification of the client.
