This purpose-built, single‑storey, eight‑bed mother-and-baby mental health unit is the first of its kind across Cheshire, Merseyside and North Wales. Designed in collaboration with women with lived experience, it offers a warm, home-like environment with thoughtful features – from cushioned headboards and dimmable lighting to inviting communal spaces and sensory rooms, to support mothers during vulnerable times.
