We are pleased to announce that our chosen charities of the year, for 2023, are Nightingale House Hospice and Wales Air Ambulance Charity.

Read continue to have a close relationship with Nightingale House Hospice, and it will be a delight to support this local charity once again. NHH provide specialist palliative care services, completely free of charge to patients and their families across North Wales.

The Welsh Air Ambulance charity is a vital service particularly for our rural communities across the region, with their 4 helicopters attending over 2,500 missions every year. Every year they need to raise £8million in order to continue their lifesaving work.

Later this year, some of the Read team will be taking on the Welsh 3000s challenge to raise money for charity. The 3000s challenge involves walking to the top of all 15 of the mountains over 3000 ft in Wales within the space of 24 hours – it will be quite a feat!
