Summary:
8 week programme of refurbishment and alterations to form a new Dental Suite at Glan Clwyd Hospital for Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.
EFFECTIVE PLANNING – Assuring the best chance of success on smaller projects, our teams invest in up front planning to ensure that the Request For Information and design review process is undertaken sufficiently early to facilitate early placing of supply chain orders and ‘hit the ground running’. This means that shorter duration projects are risk managed and constraint free ahead of work activities commencing. At the Glan Clwyd Dental scheme, the management of these processes ensured the project completed within the challenging 8 week programme.
EFFICIENT SUPPLIERS – To hit the programme and budget targets, key suppliers and subcontractors were engaged early to bring their ‘process expert’ expertise to the project and obtain certainty of delivery to time, cost and quality standards. The scheme was delivered by 100% local SME suppliers.
