Read take on the Three Peaks Challenge

A group of Read employees are to tackle the national Three Peaks Challenge.

The team of 15 will climb each of the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales to raise money for Mind, the mental health charity.

Recent studies have found that male site workers are three times more likely to commit suicide than the average male and therefore Read are fundraising to raise awareness and funds for Mind.

The team will walk a total of 23 miles, with the ascent totalling 3,064 metres (10,052 ft) this July.

The original target of £3000 has been increased to £5000 due to the generous donations received at the start of the campaign.

To support the achievement of the target, Read are fundraising in many other ways, including dress down Fridays and bake offs!
