From an Architectural design background, Darren joined Read to further strengthen the business’ design offering, enabling Read to support clients from conception to delivery. Darren leads the pre-construction design development stages to ensure employer requirements are fully addressed via ongoing design option reviews that focus on best value throughout project delivery.
Darren’s passion for BIM and it’s benefit to the wider construction industry is critical, and Read strive for the he efficient delivery of digital construction processes through the design and delivery stages to ensure effective design review and communications. Darren recently gained his BIM Level 2 Certified Practitioner status through the BRE Group. After undertaking training with the BRE and completing an audit of his BIM Level 2 skills and knowledge, Darren has become the first Certificated Practitioner based in a North Wales SME.
